Karen Caponetti
President/CFO
Karen joined Geriatric Resource Centre (GRC) in 1999 to work alongside her mother, Ann Peck, after many years working in a corporate environment. A graduate of Boston University with a degree in sociology, Karen brings both business expertise and a passion for compassionate care. Under her mother’s guidance, Karen has continued to expand the GRC while honoring Ann’s founding principles of dignity, respect, and exceptional in-home care services.
Today, Karen oversees all aspects of daily operations at GRC, ensuring that seniors and families across MetroWest Boston and the surrounding areas receive the highest level of geriatric care management and support. Her greatest satisfaction comes from knowing that the services provided by GRC have made a meaningful difference in the lives of so many clients and their families.
Marci Sage
Director of Client Relations
Marci’s background as an entrepreneur allows her to wear many hats within the Geriatric Resource Centre (GRC) team. With a deep understanding of each client’s individual needs, Marci serves as the vital liaison between our caregivers and the families we serve. She is committed to ensuring client safety and satisfaction and that the quality of personalized in-home care remains consistently high over time, maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with every client.
Since joining GRC in July 2014, Marci has helped seniors and their families across MetroWest Boston receive the compassionate support they deserve through our trusted geriatric care management services.
Brooke Akpan
Operations and Scheduling Manager
Brooke joined the Geriatric Resource Centre (GRC) team in July 2018, bringing her experience as a seasoned clinician to support the smooth management of daily operations and caregiver scheduling. She plays a vital role as a liaison between our caregivers and the families we serve, helping to ensure timely and responsive communication.
Brooke is dedicated to making sure that every client across MetroWest Boston receives the highest quality of personalized in-home care and seamless support through GRC’s trusted geriatric care management services.

With over 100 dedicated caregivers, many of whom have been with us for over a decade, we are proud to deliver senior home care services rooted in compassion and consistency. Every caregiver we hire brings at least three years of experience, a passion for service, and a commitment to upholding our COVID-19 safety protocols and values of respect, dignity, and trust.
